How do we book and do we meet first?

Booking is really easy, I just ask for a 20% deposit to secure the date. Although not essential I prefer to meet first

If meeting in person isn't possible, for instance if you live abroad, then we can discuss your wedding via Skype or on the phone

Do you shoot weddings abroad?

Absolutely, I love shooting destination weddings!

Do you offer wedding videography too?

Yes, I was one of the first photographers to offer combined stills and video. My cameraman Arnie is a highly experienced documentary film maker and has shot many weddings with me over the years. We work seamlessly together as a creative unit

How many photographers will there be on the day?

Always two, myself and one of my long standing assistant photographers, either Kat or Steve. Both of whom are highly experienced. The advantages of having two photographers is massive; we can capture you both getting ready, shoot the ceremony from different angles, take candids of your guests during the drinks reception whilst you're off having your romantic shots done and capture the speeches and first dance from different perspectives. Having two photographers is a HUGE advantage

How long do you typically stay for?

We start 2-3 hours before the ceremony and finish an hour or so after your first dance

Do you photograph the details of the day? ie flowers, dress, table decorations, cake, rings etc

Absolutely, we photograph all of the little things that make your day unique and special

Do you photograph formal groups of family and friends?

Yes it's still a big part of modern wedding photography and I typically allow 30-45 minutes to shoot between 10-12 different line ups depending on size/number or people

Where are you based?

I'm based in Surrey and surrounded by several award winning gastro pubs and lots of great dog walks making it a short and pleasant trip out from London

Do you offer engagement shoots?

Absolutely, I can shoot in central London, at the wedding venue, in the countryside or at a location that has special meaning to you

Is mileage extra?

Generally mileage is included in the price however if your venue is very far away we may charge extra to cover the cost, bearing in mind that with the pre wedding consultation we'll be visiting it twice

Do you visit the wedding venue beforehand?

Yes, wherever possible I'll conduct a pre wedding consultation with you at your venue. Generally 2-3 months before the big day. Theres a good chance that I've photographed at your venue before but if not the consultation will allow me to ascertain the best locations, where the sun is going to be positioned in relation to your venue at any given time and where to shoot if the dreaded 'r' word strikes

Will it be you photographing my wedding?

Absolutely, you're booking me for my creativity, style, experience and vision. I'll be ably assisted by either Steve or Kat

Do you offer albums?

Yes, I offer a large range of both contemporary coffee table books and traditional albums, including stunning albums by the boutique book co (bobo) which are 100 % exclusive to me in the UK!

Can we buy an album after our wedding?

Yes absolutely

Do you shoot jewish/Muslim/Asian/Greek/Syrian weddings?

Absolutely, I really enjoy shooting weddings from different religious, ethnic and cultural backgrounds, I love the diversity and colours. I've shot many non christian weddings over the years from a multitude of ethnicities. I love the food too!

How long after the wedding will we receive our photographs?

Generally 2-3 weeks. I won't rush the post processing of the digital images as its a vital part of the wedding photography process and it takes time to do properly

Will the wedding photographs be hi-resolution and can I make my own prints?

Yes and yes

Will we have b&w photographs too?

Yes I'll give you a complete set of your wedding photographs in b&w which will be individually optimised and finished

Do you only shoot big weddings?

Over the years I've shot intimate weddings with only 6 people up to large scale weddings with over 600 guests
